Dr. Subhalakshmi Ghosh

Founder & Director

Subhami Biopharma is Founded by Dr. Subhalakshmi Ghosh, a Ph.D. from Jadavpur University and a Post-doc in collaboration with Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai. She was associated to Jadavpur University as DST- Young Scientist in the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and has more than 30 research publications in international peer reviewed journals, 4 book-chapters, 1 patent.

Dr. Ghosh shifted herself from academia to industry on 2023 and in the year of 2025, she founded Subhami Biopharma (OPC) Pvt Ltd.

She continues to remain academically inclined as the visiting faculty of School of Natural Product Studies, Jadavpur University; and as Industry-expert member of the advisory committee of Department of Biotechnology, UEM, Kolkata.

For her contribution in the field of academia and industry, Dr. Ghosh received Mahatma Gandhi Gold Medal Award, Rashtriya Gaurav Award, and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Excellence Award, Women Entrepreneurship awards from TiE Kolkata Chapter; Atal Incubation Centre, NIPER, Guwahati, Govt of India, and selected as ‘Rising Women’ by American Centre, US Consulate, Kolkata. Further, she has been invited to BRICS Women Entrepreneurship Forum, 2025, held in Moscow, Russia and represented India and Bengal, in the Global business platform.

Ankit Saha

Research Assistant

Postgraduate in Microbiology from JIS University, Kolkata; experienced in diverse laboratory techniques, including GLP, cell and molecular biology, with proficiency in handling bioinformatics related software and effectively contributes to Subhami Biopharma’s training and Skill Development Courses.

Atindria Chakraborty

Research Assistant

Postgraduate in Biotechnology; University of Calcutta, committed to support high quality writing for funded projects, dissertation, creating content, research papers, background referencing, patent and trademark documentation, pitch presentation, application for seed grant at Subhami Biopharma.

Indrakshi Mandal

Research Assistant

Postgraduate in Microbiology from JIS University, Kolkata, with proficiency in diverse laboratory techniques including molecular biology, bacterial handling, cell culture; experienced in handling bioinformatics tools and involved in Subhami Biopharma’s workshops and webinars.
